Description

The Agate Cowry is a medium-sized, ovate, and highly glossy seashell. Its dorsal surface is typically light brown to tan, adorned with irregular, darker brown spots and blotches. The ventral side, including the margins and base, is uniformly white or cream-colored. The aperture is narrow, extending almost the full length of the shell, and is lined with fine, distinct teeth on both the inner and outer lips. The shell's overall appearance is smooth and polished, characteristic of cowries.
