Description
A medium to large-sized, heavy cone shell with a broadly conical body whorl and a moderately elevated, pointed spire. The shell surface is generally smooth, and the aperture is long and narrow. The color pattern is striking, featuring a rich reddish-brown or orange-brown background adorned with irregular white blotches and axial streaks, which often coalesce into two or three distinct spiral bands of white markings. The spire is also patterned with alternating white and brown.
