Description
Amplidrupa aperta is a species of predatory sea snail belonging to the family Muricidae. This specimen displays a robust, globose to ovate shell with a wide aperture and a distinctly thickened, crenulated outer lip. The shell's exterior is often encrusted with marine growth, as seen in the image, while the interior of the aperture is typically white with some brownish staining. A dark, corneous operculum is visible within the aperture.
