Description
A small, highly sculptured marine gastropod shell characterized by numerous prominent, sharp, and often recurved spines arranged in distinct spiral rows. The shell exhibits a somewhat turbinate to fusiform shape with a moderately elevated spire. The body whorl is large relative to the spire, and the aperture is ovate. A relatively short, open siphonal canal extends from the base of the aperture.
