Description
A medium-sized, orbicular bivalve shell, typically off-white to cream in color. The exterior surface is characterized by numerous fine, concentric growth lines that are clearly visible. The shell is compressed and equivalve, with a rounded anterior and posterior margin. While the exterior in the image appears uniformly light, the species is known for a subtle bluish tint, often more prominent on the interior or near the umbo.
