Description
A live specimen of Chicoreus dunni, a marine gastropod, held underwater in what appears to be a shallow, seagrass-rich environment. The shell is robust, fusiform, and characterized by prominent, frond-like varices. The animal's dark, granular mantle and a dark operculum are clearly visible. The shell exhibits a mottled pattern of dark brown, black, and lighter cream or tan bands.
