Description

A medium-sized, elongated conical shell with a moderately high, stepped spire. The shell's ground color is off-white to cream, adorned with irregular, elongated reddish-orange to brownish-orange blotches and spots arranged in interrupted spiral bands. The shoulder of the body whorl and the spire whorls are distinctly nodulose or coronated. The aperture is long and narrow, characteristic of the genus.
