Description
A medium-sized, slender, and elongated cone shell with a moderately elevated, stepped spire. The body whorl is smooth and tapers towards the base. The aperture is long and narrow. The shell exhibits a striking pattern of irregular reddish-brown to orange-brown axial and spiral bands or blotches over a creamy white or pale yellowish background.
