Description

A medium-sized, conical marine gastropod shell, characterized by its striking pattern of irregular, bright orange or yellow-orange blotches and bands on a creamy white background. The spire is moderately elevated and stepped, with fine spiral grooves and granular ridges. The body whorl is smooth to finely sculptured with faint spiral lines and and small nodules, especially towards the base. The aperture is narrow and elongated.
