Description

A moderately large, elongated-conical seashell with a glossy surface. The spire is moderately elevated and slightly stepped, while the body whorl is smooth and tapers towards the anterior end. The aperture is long and narrow. The shell exhibits a rich orange-brown to reddish-brown base color, adorned with irregular, often axially elongated, white or pale yellowish blotches, particularly prominent on the shoulder and mid-body. The interior of the aperture is a pale purplish-pink or lavender.
