Description

A medium-sized, robust seashell with a biconical to turbinate shape and a moderately high spire. The shell surface is characterized by strong, undulating axial ribs (costae) and prominent spiral cords, creating a distinctly cancellate or nodulose sculpture. The aperture is ovate, with a flared outer lip that is heavily denticulate or crenulated internally. The columella is smooth. The overall appearance is solid and highly sculptured.
