Description
A robust, turbinate marine gastropod shell, characterized by its low, conical spire and a wide body whorl. The exterior surface is typically dull and sculptured, often with nodules or ridges, giving it a rugged appearance. The aperture is large and distinctly nacreous (pearly white) on the interior. A prominent feature is its thick, calcareous operculum, which is visible in the image.
