Description

A small to medium-sized marine gastropod shell, characterized by its fusiform shape, elevated spire, and prominent axial sculpture. The shell surface is rough, with numerous lamellar or frilly varices and spiral cords. The aperture is ovate, and a relatively long siphonal canal is present. The color is typically off-white to light brown, often with darker encrustations. The operculum, visible in the image, is dark brown to black.
