Description
A medium-sized, subcircular to orbicular bivalve shell, typically white or cream in color. It is characterized by numerous fine, regular, and prominent concentric growth ridges across its surface, giving it a finely sculptured appearance. The shell is compressed and has a small, pointed umbo, slightly anterior to the center.
