Description

Father Englert's Cowrie (*Erosaria englerti*) is a small to medium-sized marine gastropod mollusk, endemic to the remote Easter Island and Sala y Gómez Island in the southeastern Pacific Ocean. Its shell is ovate, humped, and highly glossy, featuring a distinctive reddish-brown to orange-brown background adorned with numerous, prominent white spots of varying sizes. A paler longitudinal line often runs dorsally. It inhabits rocky subtidal environments.
