Description
A small, highly sculptured marine gastropod shell, characterized by its ornate and frilly appearance. The shell is fusiform to biconical with a high spire and a relatively short siphonal canal. It features prominent, lamellar axial varices, often with a somewhat tubular or hollow structure, giving it a rugged texture. The aperture is oval to sub-circular, with a denticulate outer lip and a smooth inner lip. The operculum, visible in one view, is a distinct yellowish-orange.
