Description
Favartia garrettii is a small, thick-shelled marine gastropod, characterized by its intricate and highly sculptured surface. The shell is fusiform with a moderately high spire. It features prominent, frilly, lamellar axial varices, typically 6-7 per whorl, which are crossed by strong spiral cords, creating a reticulated or latticed appearance. The aperture is relatively small and ovate, and the siphonal canal is short and open. The overall coloration is usually off-white, cream, or pale beige, sometimes with subtle variations in shade.
