Description
A medium-sized, smooth, and highly glossy marine gastropod shell, characterized by its elongated-oval shape, short spire, and a long, narrow aperture that extends almost the full length of the shell. The shell in the image displays a creamy white to pale yellowish-brown base color, often adorned with subtle, irregular orange-brown or reddish-brown markings and blotches. It belongs to the family Olividae, commonly known as olive shells, which are predatory snails typically found burrowing in sandy marine environments.
