Description

A species of keyhole limpet, Fissurella natalensis, is depicted attached to a rocky intertidal substrate. The shell is oval, relatively flattened, and exhibits distinct radial ribbing. A characteristic keyhole-shaped opening (foramen) is visible at the apex. The shell's coloration consists of alternating light and dark bands, providing camouflage against the rock.
