Description
A medium-sized, fusiform seashell with a moderately elevated spire and a large body whorl. The shell exhibits striking dark brown, wavy, axial flammules or streaks on a creamy white to pale tan background. The patterns are somewhat irregular and can appear broken or dashed in places. The aperture is elongated, and the columella (inner lip) is typically smooth or with weak folds (not clearly visible in this dorsal view). The surface appears smooth with growth lines.
