Description

A robust, medium-sized marine gastropod shell, heavily encrusted with various epibionts such as small barnacles and tube worms, which largely obscure its natural surface sculpture and coloration. The shell is turbinate to ovate-conical with a moderately low spire. The aperture is wide and ovate, featuring a pale, smooth interior and a short siphonal canal. A dark, chitinous operculum is visible within the aperture.
