Description

A medium-sized, conical seashell with a moderately low spire. The shell exhibits a white to cream background adorned with numerous fine spiral rows of reddish-brown or orange-brown dots. Overlaid on this dotted pattern are irregular, often axially elongated, brown blotches or bands, which give the shell its 'interrupted' appearance. The aperture is narrow and extends along the length of the body whorl.
