Description
The Japanese conch, *Fasciolaria japonica*, is a species of large predatory sea snail belonging to the family Fasciolariidae. Its shell is typically fusiform (spindle-shaped) with a high, pointed spire and a long siphonal canal. The surface is generally smooth or finely sculptured, often exhibiting distinct axial ribs on the early whorls. It is a carnivorous species found in the Western Pacific.
