Description
A living Josephine's moon snail (Neverita josephine) partially buried in a sandy marine substrate. Its large, pale, fleshy foot is extended and partially covered with sand, indicating its burrowing behavior. The smooth, globose shell, with its characteristic low spire, is visible above the sand.
