Description
The Lucapinella callomarginata is a species of keyhole limpet characterized by its low, oval, conical shell. It features a prominent, elongated, keyhole-shaped apical opening (foramen). The shell surface is sculptured with numerous radial ribs, some more prominent than others, and fine concentric growth lines. Its coloration typically consists of a creamy white or off-white background with distinct radial bands or blotches of light brown to reddish-brown, which can be somewhat irregular. The margin of the shell is often crenulated or scalloped, reflecting the radial sculpture.
