Description

A small, robust, and highly sculptured marine gastropod shell. It is characterized by its fusiform to conical shape with a moderately elevated spire. The surface is densely covered with prominent, rounded, and often somewhat irregular nodules or beads, formed by the intersection of strong axial ribs and spiral cords. The aperture is relatively narrow, and the siphonal canal is short. The overall appearance is rough and textured.
