Description
A medium-sized, ovate cowry shell, characterized by its smooth, glossy surface and humped dorsal profile. The shell exhibits a range of reddish-brown to pinkish-purple hues, often with subtle transverse banding or blotches. The margins and base are typically paler, featuring distinct dark brown or black spots, particularly on the columellar side. The aperture, though not visible in this dorsal view, is narrow and toothed, typical of cowries.
