Description
Oliva mustelina, commonly known as the Musteline Olive or Weasel Olive, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Olividae. Its shell is characterized by a smooth, glossy, and elongated cylindrical shape, typically adorned with intricate wavy or zigzag patterns of reddish-brown to dark brown lines over a creamy white or pale yellow background. The aperture is long and narrow, and the columella is usually white. The animal itself is often seen partially extended, with its large foot used for burrowing in sandy substrates.
