Description

A small, robust marine gastropod shell, exhibiting an ovate-fusiform shape with a relatively short spire and a prominent body whorl. The exterior is a mottled purplish-red to reddish-brown, appearing somewhat encrusted or eroded, consistent with a natural, uncleaned specimen found in its habitat. The aperture is ovate, featuring a thick, clean white outer lip. The most striking characteristic is the interior of the aperture, which is a vibrant, glossy, deep reddish-orange, particularly noticeable on the columella and parietal shield. The shell is depicted on a rocky, algal-covered seafloor.
