Description
A medium-sized, conical seashell with a moderately elevated, stepped spire. The body whorl is broad at the shoulder and tapers towards the anterior end. The shell surface is generally smooth, displaying a distinctive pattern of irregular, often confluent, reddish-brown to orange-brown blotches and axial streaks on a cream to white background. The aperture is long and narrow.
