Description
A patelliform (limpet-shaped) seashell, conical in profile with a somewhat irregular, wavy margin. The exterior surface is characterized by strong radial ribs and a distinctive color pattern of off-white to cream with radiating dark brown to purplish-brown stripes and blotches. A small, coiled gastropod shell is attached to its surface as an epibiont.
