Description

A medium-sized marine gastropod shell, characterized by its robust and spiny appearance. The shell is fusiform with a prominent siphonal canal. Its surface is sculptured with strong axial ribs and spiral cords, bearing numerous sharp, often recurved spines or nodules, particularly on the shoulder. The aperture is ovate, with a white, often denticulate outer lip, and a dark brown operculum is visible. The overall coloration is mottled, ranging from greenish-brown to grayish-white with darker brown accents.
