Description
The Spindle Dwarf Triton is a medium-sized marine gastropod shell characterized by its fusiform (spindle-shaped) and elongated form. The shell exhibits prominent sculpture, featuring strong axial ribs and spiral cords that create a cancellate or reticulated pattern, particularly noticeable on the body whorl. The spire is tall and pointed. The aperture is oval, with a thickened outer lip and a short siphonal canal. The interior of the aperture is distinctly dark brown, contrasting with the lighter exterior.
