Description
A small, glossy cowrie shell, typically ovate to subcylindrical in shape. The dorsal surface is pale cream to light tan, adorned with irregular, darker brown or reddish-brown spots or blotches. The base is lighter, often white or pale cream, featuring distinct small brown spots along the margins of the aperture. It is found in the Indo-Pacific region, inhabiting shallow subtidal zones.
