Description
A marine gastropod shell, identified as Turbo lajonkairii, resting on a coral or rocky substrate covered with algae. The shell is characterized by its robust, somewhat flattened turbinate shape, prominent frilly or spiny projections along the body whorl, and a striking iridescent blue-green interior aperture. Its exterior displays a mottled pattern of browns, greens, and whites.
