Description

A small, elongated, fusiform marine gastropod shell with a prominent, high spire. The shell features several convex whorls adorned with strong, somewhat irregular axial ribs that are crossed by finer spiral cords, creating a subtly cancellate texture. The overall color is a uniform light tan to beige, with a distinct, slightly lighter, almost white spiral band running around the middle of the body whorl and visible on earlier whorls. The aperture is ovate, and the outer lip appears simple. A short siphonal canal is present at the base of the aperture.
