Its shell is characterized by an elongate-ovate to fusiform shape with a smooth, highly glossy surface and a moderately tall, pointed spire. The coloration typically features irregular purplish-brown or reddish-brown axial flammules and blotches on a creamy white to pale tan background, often forming distinct bands. It inhabits sandy bottoms in the Indo-Pacific region.
