Description

The shell is conical, moderately heavy, with a broad shoulder and a moderately elevated, stepped spire. The body whorl tapers towards the base. The surface appears smooth but is adorned with fine spiral grooves, particularly noticeable towards the base and on the spire whorls. The aperture is long and narrow, extending almost the full length of the body whorl.
