Description

A medium to large-sized marine gastropod shell, characterized by its fusiform shape, relatively high spire, and smooth, glossy surface. The shell is typically pale cream to off-white, often with a distinctive purplish coloration at the anterior end (siphonal canal). It is a deep-water species endemic to New Zealand.
