Description

A medium-sized marine gastropod shell, characterized by its highly sculptured and frilly appearance. The shell exhibits a scalariform (staircase-like) spire with prominent, often spiny or lamellar axial ribs. The overall color is off-white to cream, with subtle orange or brownish hues in the grooves and on the frills. The aperture is ovate, glossy, and a striking pale orange to peach color, contrasting with the exterior. The siphonal canal is relatively short.
