Description
A medium-sized, conical marine gastropod shell, partially covered by a thick, fibrous periostracum. The visible shell beneath the periostracum is a pale yellowish-brown to pinkish-white, with some lighter axial streaks. The shell exhibits a low spire and a long, narrow aperture. The periostracum itself is a dull greenish-brown and appears to be peeling in sections.
