Description

A medium-sized, conical seashell with a moderately elevated, stepped, and distinctly nodulose (coronated) spire. The shell's ground color is white to creamy white, adorned with irregular, often axially elongated, reddish-brown to orange-brown blotches. These blotches frequently form two indistinct spiral bands. The entire body whorl is also marked with fine spiral lines of reddish-brown dots or dashes. The aperture is long, narrow, and straight, extending almost the full length of the shell, with a thin outer lip. The surface appears relatively smooth but may have fine spiral grooves, especially towards the base.
