Description
The Bilious Cone (*Conus biliosus*) is a medium-sized, conical sea snail shell. It features a moderately low spire and a body whorl that tapers towards the anterior end. The shell is predominantly dark brown to reddish-brown, often displaying faint lighter spiral bands. A key identifying characteristic is the presence of irregular white or cream-colored spots and blotches adorning the shoulder and spire. Fine spiral striae may be visible, particularly towards the base of the shell.
