Description
A small, robust, turbinate seashell characterized by a moderately elevated spire and a wide, ovate aperture. The shell surface is heavily sculptured with prominent, blunt spines or nodules arranged in spiral and axial patterns. The siphonal canal is relatively short. The exterior exhibits a mottled coloration of light brown, reddish-brown, and greenish-grey, often with patches of white or lighter tones, possibly due to encrusting organisms or wear. The interior of the aperture is glossy white, transitioning to a dark brown or blackish columellar area, and features a distinct reddish-orange band along the inner edge of the outer lip.
