Identifying FeaturesThe shell is equivalve, with a sub-circular to ovate outline. It is characterized by approximately 25-30 strong, rounded radial ribs, which are often nodulose or scaly, especially towards the ventral margin. Concentric growth lines are also prominent, creating a cancellate sculpture where they cross the radial ribs. The lunule is cordate and deeply impressed, and the escutcheon is narrow and lanceolate. The interior margin is crenulated.

Description
