Description
A medium-sized, glossy cowrie shell with an ovate shape. The dorsal surface is typically light brownish-orange to pinkish-tan, densely covered with small, pale white or yellowish spots. A distinctive feature is the presence of two prominent, dark reddish-brown to purplish-brown blotches, one on each side of the dorsal surface. The margins and base are lighter, often whitish or cream, with small dark spots along the margins. The aperture is narrow and toothed.
