Description
The Circular Saw Shell is a large, heavy marine gastropod shell characterized by its distinctive discoidal shape and a periphery adorned with numerous sharp, flattened spines, giving it a saw-like appearance. The shell surface is typically covered with granular or nodulose spiral cords, and the spire is very low and flattened. This specimen displays a uniform pale, off-white coloration, common for cleaned or aged shells.
