Description
The Circumcision Cone (*Conus circumcisus*) is a medium-sized predatory sea snail belonging to the family Conidae. Its shell is typically elongate-conical, smooth, and glossy, with a low spire and a large, tapering body whorl. The shell coloration is predominantly yellowish-orange to light brown, adorned with irregular, scattered dark brown or reddish-brown blotches or spots. The aperture is white. This species is found in the Indo-Pacific region, inhabiting sandy or rubble bottoms near coral reefs in subtidal zones. Like other cone snails, it is a venomous predator, feeding primarily on fish.
