Description
A single valve of a small bivalve shell, likely a clam, held between fingers. The interior of the shell is visible, showing a whitish to bluish-gray nacreous surface. The most prominent feature is the strongly crenulated (toothed) inner margin, which is dark gray. The shell appears to be somewhat ovate in shape, with some sand particles adhering to its interior. The exterior surface is not clearly visible.
