Description
A medium-sized, predatory marine gastropod, commonly known as Tagaro's Cone. Its shell is broadly conical with a distinct, somewhat angular shoulder and a relatively low spire. The shell exhibits a striking coloration of deep reddish-brown or purplish-brown, heavily mottled and flecked with white or lighter spots, particularly on the shoulder and spire. The animal itself, visible in the image, has a dark foot with lighter markings.
